Installing SolidWorks Education Edition 2013-2014
I'm attempting to install SolidWorks.
After I enter my serial number and get to the page where I can click "Download & Install" it asks me for a SNL server when I click install. Should I be seeing this? If so, what is the address? |

Did you choose the standalone install at the beginning? sounds like you put network license.

I must have. I clicked cancel, told it to continue without an SNL. The installation just finished and it seems to be working fine.

Re: Installing SolidWorks Education Edition 2013-2014
Ty - Cory is right. Choose Standalone. Each team member must install separately. This is not a network installation.
With one serial number you get SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, SolidWorks Flow, SolidWorks Plastics, SolidWorks Motion and SolidWorks Sustainability. All these applications and more are available in Tools, AddIns. Many are listed in the Office Products tab in the Command Manager. If you want SolidWorks Workgroup PDM, then you must modify your installation after fully completed. This is the only application that doesn't get loaded automatically. Thanks Cory. Marie |

Re: Installing SolidWorks Education Edition 2013-2014
I know this is not totally related to the OP, but is Solidworks Educational version being offered to teams for use for free this year? It doesn't seem to talk about Solidworks at all on the usfirst.org site.
