is anyone wanting a lot of lights (decorative) on the robot?

Other on team #438, Gladiators, from Jack Yates High School and Mrs. Reagan Flowers. wasup... i'm rimple bhakta (go by 'rimp') well i'm into lights a lot from blacklights to neon lights... and i suggested to our team about putting some cool mini stobe lights and blacklights facn the bottom to relfect off the carpet ... is anyone else thinking bout putting more lights visit www.secme-jackyates.com (im the web animation guy) |

You know, the ones that go under your car and make the road under your car glow. the are small enough that we were thinking of mounting them on the bottom of the robot. However, now that we actually catch air from going over that bar under the divider, it might be a little rough on the lighting. Josh Team 419 "Wha?" |

Just thought I'd remind you. |

Just thought I'd remind you. Rule M9: Teams may add "non-functional" decorations to robots under the following conditions: ... - Decorations MAY draw power from the control system... C20: During each competition match, your robot may contain only one of the two batteries provided by FIRST. My take on this is that you can have another battery to power any decorations that you want, as long as it's not the other one that you got in the kit. The way I see that, you could put a different battery in, as long as it was isolated from the control system(and make the isolation easy to see). I would recommend e-mailing Eric at FIRST to get the official ruling on this, however... Nate |
