Hello everybody!
The camera erased our solidworks part in week 2 that we captured. (it was missing in our videoblog) So we made a quick render. What do you guys think? ![]() |

Re: 4481 - Solidworks Render
Holy modular electronics batman! That board is so cool! I've been trying to get my teams to do this for ages. "No," they say, "it's too difficult." And then they wonder why it takes me so long to wire the robot under their enormous manipulator with no access panels.

Re: 4481 - Solidworks Render
Haha thanks!
We had a modular box last year but had some rookie problems with the connectors and visibility of some components during inspection. This year it pops in and out using a guidance rail. At end there will be slot with all the connectors. So sliding out is disconnected and pops in is everything connected. And the bumper locks it into position. Hopefully it all works out as we're planning. |

Re: 4481 - Solidworks Render
I really like the electronics board system. How painful was it to design?
