RoboRealm Autonomous help
We are a new-ish Team we are useing Java For our FRC compeititon, We intened on Vision tracking for our 2014 Competiton but we are stumped on how to run variables from Roborealm to the robot and controling it during an autonomous period. We Dont know where to locate/download API or how to use network tables so please help me please be indepth

Check out this tutorial for last year's game. It should give you a jumpstart on vision tracking, camera interface and communication with cRIO.

Hello, to send data to the Smart Dashboard, I did the following.
First, I opened up the "Set_Variable" module, and I Set a variable (in my case COG_AREA) and the value to "[Now]". I also clicked the "Set Once" checkbox. Next, I opened up the "Network Tables" and I put in the IP address of my cRio in the "Hostname" area. Then, I selected the variable I wanted to send. Then, when I loaded up the robot and opened up the smart dashboard, the variable that I sent appeared on the smart dashboard. |
