Double Solenoid VOLTAGE?
Does it matter what voltage the double solenoid (electric valve) receives?

Re: Double Solenoid VOLTAGE?
Yes, if it is a 12V double solenoid, give it 12V. If it is a 24 V solenoid give it 24 Volts.

Re: Double Solenoid VOLTAGE?
We have a bunch of 12V batteries, but only 24V Solenoids. Is there an way we can make this work.

To test 24v solenoids our team spliced together 2 battery plugs with a fuse in between. It works but isn't the safest thing.

Re: Double Solenoid VOLTAGE?
You should be using the +24V supply on the Power Distribution Board. It is the same supply that the CRIO uses.

Re: Double Solenoid VOLTAGE?
Probably too late now but use http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-0875.htm so you don't have to choose.
