we would like to know if we can install an electrical brush system to transfer current from the power wire to the fisher price motors that we are using for our drive. this would be helpful to us in order to allow full 360 degree rotation on our wheels.

FIRST is kinda picky about what you can and can't use for electrical systems...look at the following points:
- Update 6, Q155
- Update 5, Q83
- Update 1, Q6
- Also, look at the Additional Hardware List(AHL)

In a nutshell, my reading of the rules(mainly in the updates) is that if you buy your "brush system" off-the-shelf and not fabricate it yourself, AND if it has the proper insulation on any non-contact surfaces, then you can use it. One alternative that you might want to consider is using a piece of tubing for the "axle" on which the 360 degree rotation is taking place, and running the wires through the center of the tubing. It doesn't completely eliminate the twisting, but it greatly reduces it...

Thanks, we all ready have it going through the tubing we where just wondering on how to provent twisting?
