20 inch extension?

In the rules where it says that the robot cannot extend past 20 inches beyond the frame perimeter, does this mean that the robot cannot extend a *total* 20 inches or that each extension cannot exceed 20 inches?

Thanks!

Re: 20 inch extension?

Each extension cannot be longer than 20". There is no limit on how many extensions your robot may have.

Re: 20 inch extension?

Look at the picture that accompanies the rule. As long as no part of your robot extends outside the dashed line, you are not violating the rule*.

*Assuming you start with your entire robot inside the frame perimeter.

Re: 20 inch extension?

Thanks so much! We had some differing interpretations of this rule and wanted to get some third party opinions
