Innovative Failures?

Check out this video from the folks at the Robot in 3 Days project. Even the best engineers have failures – but they use those failures as springboards. Sometimes that step back is just what’s needed to make a bigger jump.

FRC Alumna in the News

Jennie Lamere, an Alumna from FRC Team 811, The Cardinals, has been nominated for a prestigious international web award. In a field of ten, she’s the only woman nominated, and the only person from the United States.

Jen is currently studying software engineering at RIT. She became Twitter’s youngest intern ever the summer before she started her studies.

Check out the story here, and vote online here to send Jen to London for the finals ceremony in May! The top 5 candidates, determined by public vote, will be invited.

Congratulations, Jen!

Frank

I'm glad to see Frank promoting Ri3D, even if it is in a subtle way. I don't believe that I've seen it mentioned in the FRC blog before today. And the more teams it reaches the better.

Re: [FRC Blog] Innovative Failure and Alumna in the News

Watching the Ri3D crew document failures really showed how you can learn from your mistakes while prototyping, and really showed that you can learn a lesson from even a complete bust of a prototyped concept.
