Solenoid breakout wiring help
The cable for FESTO VUVG valve attaches to the solenoid (24V) through the black clip. How does the other side (open wires) attach to the solenoid breakout? Do you soder them on the pins or something?

Re: Solenoid breakout wiring help
We connect them (typically solder) to the 2 pin cables in the kit, and then plug the 2 pin cables into the breakout.

Re: Solenoid breakout wiring help
This is typically how we do it as well. I have also wired it through flat Cat5 cable before, particularly when we have a large array of solenoids, but then terminate the cables with the festo clips on one end and a pwm connector on the other (only using 2 pins). Also, you mentioned 24v, so remember, you need to supply 24v power to your module from the PDB! I've see 24v solenoids running to a 12v supplied module one to many times!!!
