AndyMark winch

We are having an issue with releasing the winch. We are using a piston to release the winch directly, when actuated the piston does release the gear box into neutral, but doesn't allow the system to release "clean" or "free". When done-manually, system will release and work successfully. Any suggestions.....2 days left

Re: AndyMark winch

Hi there,

What size air cylinder are you using? The ones that we recommend installing on our Sonic Shifters are not powerful enough to release a winch under the load of a catapult. You may need to switch to a much larger bore cylinder, or use a lever arm to get enough force to fully disengage the dog gear.
