Ultrasonic Range Finder issues
We are using the Ultrasonic Range Finder MB1010. On the driver station when it is enabled we get 2 numbers that cycle between each other one is around -.37..... and .14.... We have also have used to sample code for it in the support section of lab view this year. I didn't know if anyone has seen this issue before and knows how to fix it or if it is just a bad sonar. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Ultrasonic Range Finder issues
1. Check your wiring to be sure the power and signal ports are oriented correctly.
2. Be sure the code is set up for the proper analog input. 3. Try various analog inputs as we had one with a bad signal channel. 4. Swap out the analog board if you have another one available. #4 turned out to be the solution for us when we saw similar behavior. Had trouble with the gyro drifting as well implying an analog offset on the board. Good luck. |
