You might want to see our robot... just a suggestion.
Posted by Ken Leung at 02/21/2001 8:11 PM EST
Student on team #192, Gunn Robotics Team, from Henry M. Gunn Senior High School. Finally, after 6 week of hard work, GRT barely finished the robot, just like the past years. So, everyone... GRT've posted a picture in the gallery. Go check it out and tell us what you think. All I can say right now about our robot: Can grab two goals front and back Arms can manipulate the bridge Arms can swipe balls from under the bridge Arms can help other teams balancing Two arm that specialize in balancing one goal or two ourselves in about 10 seconds. And a drive train with gear shifting that allow us to move strong and slow in low gear while balancing; smooth and fast in high gear while on the field. So, in short, G-Force specializes in balancing and gate keeping. |

Question

Student on team #288, RoboDawgs, from Grandville High School and X-Rite & Delphi. In Reply to: You might want to see our robot... just a suggestion. Posted by Ken Leung on 02/21/2001 8:11 PM EST: I love your design, but I have a couple questions. How well does it stay balanced when power is killed? It seems to me that if you don't have it balanced right the arms will only keep it balanced until the end of the match. I can't wait to see it in action, Trevor, Team 288 : Finally, after 6 week of hard work, GRT barely finished the robot, just like the past years. : So, everyone...
