Go to Post Seeing a bunch of teams from Indiana and probably Michagin competing at the same time.... If I wanted to see that, I'd just go to the Championship in Atlanta. :yikes: - Barry Bonzack [more]

Jag's not flashing?

So we can't make a stable connection with our jags. We plug in a terminator in the non 10101 port and we plug the cat 3 cable with a usb adapter into the 10101 port. We bring up the good old BDC conf program or whatever and it doesn't comm error on us, but it doesn't give us info on any of our jags, and the blink yellow light doesn't stop blinking which our manual says it should. Is there something really stupid I'm missing? Yes it's powered.

Re: Jag's not flashing?

Just to confirm that your cable wiring matches the connector shown on page 13 of http://content.vexrobotics.com/docs/...t_20130220.pdf

It can be easy to connect Tx to Tx, etc.

The CAN cabling can be tricky sometimes (more often late at night). Not that this is your issue, but I recall a team at CMP 3 years ago who had only half of their Jags working.. every other one. The team made all cables wrong, but it worked out that two wrongs made it right again.
