WCD Chassis Stress Test
At the end of our summer meeting today, we decided to "stress test" our brand new West Coast Products chassis. Here are the results:
http://instagram.com/p/rBT1nKA_B4/ In all seriousness, the chassis held up great. The pop rivets hold the frame together well, although I am considering welding the gussets and the corners of the frame together. The chassis felt very sturdy to ride and I would feel safe longboarding with this thing. (just kidding, I don't want to die) Filming credits go to Metonym |

Re: WCD Chassis Stress Test
Interesting strength test. Do you have any plans for further testing?

But how many fat kids/boxes of paper can it push across the floor?

Re: WCD Chassis Stress Test
We have plans for drive testing. We're comparing it to the Andymark AM14U chassis in the wide configuration (32x23) with Colson wheels and shifter upgrades. We're also comparing it to our Aerial Assist robot, which is also an Andymark AM14U chassis in the square configuration (28x28) with Andymark HiGrip wheels and Toughbox Mini gearboxes.
