[FTC]: FTC programming/drive station?

I am new to FTC and the programming for it. Is there a driver station somewhere that i haven't found? Also in the remote control editor when the left stick goes right it goes forward and up and down spins it. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: [FTC]: FTC programming/drive station?

To begin, people new to FTC should always check out this page:

http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprogr...team-resources

It is the FTC team resources site. There you will find all the information you need to have a great rookie year.

Now to answer your question, the "Driver Station" is the Samantha Field Control System. Every event has a computer and router set up, so each individual team doesn't need a laptop.

About half way down the team resources page, there is a heading "The Field Control System." First read the operator guide and follow the instructions to install the Samantha Field Control System.

What programming language are you using? No matter what it is you can find YouTube tutorials on it. I only know labview so if you need help there let me know.

Re: [FTC]: FTC programming/drive station?

Check out the switch on the back of your controller. Switch it to the other option.
