[Behind the Lines] Ep. 4 with Andy Baker and Mike Coresetto on Team Communication!

Join GameSense and FIRST for the fourth episode of Behind the Lines, LIVE tonight at 8 PM ET! You don't want to miss this episode on effective team communication.

Unclear or miss-communications during the season can lead to missed deadlines, lost matches, and unhappy team members. Join myself and Ty from GameSense as we welcome our two fabulous guests:

Andy Baker, Woodie Flower's Award winner, the "Andy" half of AndyMark, and mentor on FRC 3940
Mike Corsetto, drive coach and mentor on FRC 1678

Team communication can be a broad term, but tonight we will be discussing how it relates to
  • Teambuilding
  • Communication Expectations
  • Conflict Management
  • Drive Coach Communication

Our guests are both successful mentors and coaches, and are very excited to share what they have learned over the years with the FRC community!

We want to hear YOUR questions about our topic. Post your questions here on Chief Delphi, or Email them to us at btl@frcgamesense.com, or tweet them with #FRCBTL before or during the show!

Robo-drama happens, so learn how to handle it now before we're all too busy building robots! See you at frcgamesense.com, twitch.tv/FRCGameSense, or youtube.com/FRCGameSense at 8 PM ET tonight!

This sounds rad! Will questions also be taken from the YouTube/Twitch comment feeds?

Yes! We encourage you to ask questions beforehand, but we will also be accepting questions via our Twitch chat-bot, and via the moderators on Youtube.

This is one of my favorite BTLs, especially with Mike's advice about drive coaching. I loved working with Corsetto at IE this past year, and I loved this episode. Good job all around, keep this stuff coming GameSense.

Re: [Behind the Lines] Ep. 4 with Andy Baker and Mike Coresetto on Team Communication

Thanks! We're glad that you enjoyed the show. A big thanks has to go out to Andy and Mike for taking time out of their day to work with us.

If you missed the show and want to catch it again, please check out the recording at http://youtu.be/2Ziz5V_weyU?t=2m.

Our next episode will be in mid-December (we're looking at 12/17 depending on guest availability), and our topic will be the 2015 control system, but this time, from a team perspective. We hope to announce more soon, but we are going to be bringing on some of the beta teams and having a discussion on their experience with the control system.
