Re: maximum # of game object

I was going to start a thread on this, but I went through the rules on the subject first.
I didn't find anything relating to the maximum number of game pieces a robot can have in its possession at any given time.

Re: maximum # of game object

I can't find anything in the rules limiting the number of totes you can carry. Since there's no xz size limit either, you're only limited by the robot weight and how much you can compact your mechanisms.

Our team has a question about this at well. How many pieces of litter can a robot carry at once?

If there is no restriction stated, then no restriction exists.

But if you're not sure, feel free to ask Q&A.

Don't forget the height restriction and the TRANSPORT CONFIGURATION rule.

What does transport config have to do with it?

Re: maximum # of game object

I'm reasonably sure there is no such restriction this season, which would give teams free reign in this area for the first time in a while(definitely since 2011, if not since 2009).

I think an intended strategy in this game is the ability to make a stack, and then move it somewhere else. For example, it might be possible to create an assembly line of sorts, where one robot makes stacks of say, 3 totes, another moves these stacks to the scoring zone, and the third caps these stacks with recycle bins.

Re: maximum # of game object

There doesn't seem to be a limit, but good luck on carrying multiple pool noodles and scoring each one when you can only score one per container. If you've focused a significant portion of your bot on the noodles, you are probably at a large disadvantage seeing as you are relying on the fact that your containers will be stacked.
