Luck o' the Irish????

Here's a little something I thought someone might like.
Once there was an anal retentive leprechaun who was ashamed of the state of his clovers. He decided to have them washed and ironed. As soon as this was done his luck took a turn for the worst; he lost his pot of gold, his rainbow lost its color, and he tripped over his own feet while dancing the Irish jig. All his friends knew what the problem was and teased him about it endlessly. "It's ok to have your clovers laundered, but you should never press your luck." Ok, sorry if that's bad but someone has to appreciate it. Oh, well. Happy St. Patty's Day neway.

P.S. Of course it's ok to press your luck at nats as long as you're prepared for whatever might happen.

hehehe

yay for irishmen

A drunken Irishman is driving through the city of Dublin on St.
Patty's Day and his car is weaving violently all over the road.
An Irish cop pulls him over.

"So," says the cop to the driver, "where have you been?"

"I've been to the pub," slurs the drunk.

"Well," says the cop, "it looks like you've had quite a few."

"I did all right," the drunk says with a smile.

"Did you know," says the cop, standing straight and folding his
arms, "that a few intersections back, your wife fell out of your
car?"

"Oh, thank heavens," sighs the man. "For a minute there, I
thought I'd gone deaf."

That one was good! Here's another, if you can handle it.
A man walks into a bar and orders 7 beers with a strong Irish accent. The bar tender complies and everyone stares as he consumes the drinks. The Irish man does this every day for two weeks. Then on St. Patty's Day the other men in the bar ask him why he order 7 beers every day. He tells them that he just came over from Dublin where every day he and his 6 brothers had a beer every evening after work. So now he wants to carry on the tradition. THe men in the bar understand an drink with him every day. One day the Irish man only orders 6 beers. Every one knew that one of his brothers had died and didn't want to be the one to say something. Just then some one new enters the bar and asks why the man has 6 beers in front of him. The Irish man replies, "One for each brother and none for me; I just joined AA."
