FRCSIM
Having some issues installing FRCSIM. We have UBUNTU, Eclipse, Gazebo installed. Went through the the manual and YouTube video on installing it. Everything goes fine until it appears to end with a dependency error on frcsim-gazebo-models and frcsim-gazebo-plugins. I found the debian installer packages on first.wpi.edu/FRC/roborio/release/linux/pool/main/f however they seem to want Gazebo 3 installed instead of Gazebo 4 (the current release) and both packages refuse to install.
Any tips appreciated! Thanks! |

If you want to downgrade to Gazebo 3 this may be of interest: http://answers.gazebosim.org/questio...from-gazebo-4/

Re: FRCSIM
Hey all,
The developers, OSRF, need to know about this. I would recommend you try to keep Gazebo 4 as the correct version. The appropriate vehicle for getting this fixed is to probably start with answers.gazebosim.org. Let me know if this isn't working. Last I checked, it was working just fine, but that's my hardware, and I'm sure updates have occurred to the Gazebo core package since then. Best, -Justin FRCsim oversight |
