I wish for... terminology!
One thing that would help many teams (mine included) make good design choices is knowing correct terminology for industrial machinery and processes that are designed to accomplish similar tasks to the logistical challenge we face this year. A forklift, being the most obvious example. Knowing what to call the mechanisms on that machine helps in understanding how they are designed and how they function. I also think knowing about baggage handling, vertical storage solutions (automated warehouses), etc. would help a lot. Anyone want to share knowledge?

Re: I wish for... terminology!
Are you asking about forklifts, or mechanisms in general? Or are you looking for a catalog of mechanisms?

Re: I wish for... terminology!
I guess I'm interested in crowd sourcing for different types of mechanisms that are used in industry. I know some and want to share, and figured if others contributed too it would help teams that were looking for ideas. I realize it may be late in the season for many teams, though.
