Classmate Java Graphics Bug
Hello, all!
Our team has recently experienced an issue where all java-based applications will not render correctly on the screen of our classmate. Applications such as the RobotBuilder, SmartDashboard, and Bridge Configuration utility all refuse to run correctly, leaving us without any ability to even begin programming. I have tried reinstalling the JRE (8u25, x86) to no avail. What are we doing wrong? Any help is appreciated! |

Re: Classmate Java Graphics Bug
When in doubt restart the computer! Did you try giving it a few taps? Just kidding dont hit it but restarting should fix some bugs, also check the resolution of the computer

Re: Classmate Java Graphics Bug
The computer has been restarted more than 10 times since the issue first appeared. We have reinstalled the JRE, the JDK, and the FRC suite. Those were the only things installed on the computer since last year, when at least the radio configuration tool worked. Everything else is fine, from LabVIEW to the default dashboard and driver station, both old and new. It's just the Java applications that are doing this to us.

Re: Classmate Java Graphics Bug
After restarting the computer again, we still can't get the Java-based applications working. We can't even get Java installed on the RoboRio. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Re: Classmate Java Graphics Bug
I really hate bumping threads, but we're at a loss for what to do here. We can't even image our router. Has anyone else encountered this issue? What else can we do short of re-imaging the classmate?
