Allowed Cameras

Does anyone know what cameras are allowed on the robot and if there is a limit to how many we can have?

Re: Allowed Cameras

On my team we use multiple GoPro cameras on our robot. We use them because they are small and versatile for mounting. They capture great footage for what they are.

Re: Allowed Cameras

What is the camera for?
If its for added vision mind the rules around that.
R49 is relevant to your interests if you are using it for vision

Re: Allowed Cameras

My team was thinking about using multiple cameras and we are wondering, how you would program it?

Re: Allowed Cameras

Depends on the type of camera and which language your're using. There is no rule limit on the number of cameras or on type, although you can't use active wireless.

IP cameras (e.g. Axis) are fairly easy to setup and you can also use USB cameras.
