FRC driver station issue with robot code
We are about to test our robot, but we have a problem with the FRC driver station.
We are able to build and deploy our code onto the robot. When we start the driver station the robot is connected. But of the 3 status lights on the control the "robot code" is lit up in red. In order that it gets green, we have to go to our project and run our Robot Main.vi Then it deploys the code again and everything works fine. Why is the "robot code" status light not immediately green? Thanks |

Re: FRC driver station issue with robot code
IIRC, you need to check a box to tell your code to run as startup when you deploy it.

Re: FRC driver station issue with robot code
You should never have a reason to use the Deploy menu item. After you Build the code, use Run As Startup instead, to make sure that the program runs when the roboRIO starts up.
