Do rules allow multiple PDBs?
This year, our team is planning on using 16+ motors. Do the rules allow multiple power distribution boards? If so, what kind of configuration would you put them in?

R25 says "the one (1) Cross The Road Electronics Power Distribution Panel"

Re: Do rules allow multiple PDBs?
With that many motors, I would be more worried about tripping the main breaker than anything else. But yes, there is a practical limit of 16 motors thanks to the PDP outputs.

Re: Do rules allow multiple PDBs?
Well, that's not completely true because according to R42 you may have 2 window motors, snow blower motors and a couple others on one controller and therefore one PDP output.

Re: Do rules allow multiple PDBs?
Given the unlimited motors this year if you're using those motors you're probably doing something wrong.

Or you're out of PDP channels.
