We have a new laptop, but it is not connecting to the RoboRio. Any ideas?

Have you tried tethering?
Have you connected other laptops? |

Re: New laptop not connecting to Roborio
How are you trying to connect? WiFi, or tethered?
Can you see/connect to the D-Link? |

Re: New laptop not connecting to Roborio
Connect via USB. Can you access the roborio web interface that way? Is the roborio getting an ip address from the router? Can you ping that IP address when connected to the router? Can you ping it using RoboRio####.local, where #### is your team number? Where exactly this fails would determine what you need to do.

Check your TCP/IP settings. In the past, you were on your own subnet (10.xx.yy.nn), where xx and yy were your team numbers. That seems to have changed this year. Try direct connecting into the roboRio. |
