Axis M1013 camera cuts out whenever it gets moved

We've got our Axis M1013 camera configured, and we were able to get a picture on our driver station. The bandwidth usage was fine, and the framerate was good too. The only problem, is that the image is really blurry, so we went to try and adjust the focus. The moment we touched the camera it lost power and we had to wait for it to come back up and restart the driver station. We tried kicking the frame once it worked again, and the camera cut out again. Is there some sort of safety setting in the camera, or could it just be a bad power connection in this camera?

No safety of that sort built-in to the camera.
Just sounds like a bad power connection/supply.

Where/how did you plug it in for 5v power?

Check both ends of the power cable of course.
Try putting some side tension on the H plug going into the camera to see if that helps.
Is the plug cut from the original wall wart?

Yeah, it's cut from the original power supply. If it's the power jack on the camera itself, what would be the easiest way to fix it?

You will have to open up the camera and solder the DC jack. You can also make your own pigtail/extension wire by using the following two pigtails:
