Here is a site I made for 2015 that serves the same purpose: http://championship.evanforbes.net

Re: Are Divisions Out Yet? Website
Another surprising geographical oddity; the most over-represented and under-represented states are right next to each other!

I like to believe that nebraska hasn't adopted FRC is because of the cost. 4H costs next to nothing for groups. The only money that groups need are for their projects, which can be as big or as small as they like. If you were to suddenly make an FRC team, you'd need to raise thousands of dollar simply to be allowed to compete. There's no need to throw a system out that is already a great success. |

I do know that a good number of FRC teams utilize 4H as a way to obtain 501(c)(3) status with less legwork. |

Re: Are Divisions Out Yet? Website
This thread has gotten a bit off topic, but anyway I added another map to better visualize the distributions of USA teams.

Re: Are Divisions Out Yet? Website
Minnesota is REALLY underrepresented.
I'm sure many people are already thinking this, but Minnesota should really consider going to districts, that way the proper proportion of teams there are able to attend Champs (Detroit edition). |
