 But should we "discriminate" based on how long your team has been around? If you think about it, FIRST's goal is to inspire students, right?
...But students on rookie and second-year teams, if anything, are in greater need of being inspired.

5030's Fantasy First
Our team decided to have some fun and do our own Fantasy First since we won't be attending Champs.
The rule were you pick 4 teams in each division. -Snake picking (1-7 then 7-1) -Scores are based on ranking at the end of the event.(76-rank) -Only awards giving points were EI Rookie All Star and National Chairmans. -Points also awarded how far you moved in Eliminations and whether you were picked or a captain. It was a similar style to district rankings for part 1 Part 2 happens after Division Finals Similar to a March Madness Bracket you predict who will move on to semi, finals and even who will win. After all is said and done the points are added up and we declare a winner. Below are pictures of the draft and the last one has the points awarded.(The final points may be slightly different for scoring.) Also the number in the top right corner is each teams predicted rank, with the last column having average overall predicted rank of your picks.

A short abbreviation for the World Championship could be WC. (Which would also be more politically correct)
