Re: Labview won't open

How did you install LabVIEW? From where did you get the installation file?

Re: Labview won't open

I used the instructions from First and National Instruments. The file came directly from national instruments.

Re: Labview won't open

Can you provide the link you downloaded, or the size?

The LabVIEW installation is two parts. First you install the industry version of LabVIEW from the DVD or a 5GB file. Then you install an update that is about 800MB. The update adds WPILib, RIO, vision, DS, and lots of other stuff.

Re: Labview won't open

I have the basic industry one at the moment, but the problem is it opened once, error coded, and the program hasn't opened or done anything since. I can't get it to open.

Re: Labview won't open

Do you remember what the error code was?

Be sure to reboot the laptop and try launching it again.

Then you will need to install the FRC 2015 Update, described here.

Re: Labview won't open

Hmm. Well I haven't had that happen to me personally, and I'm not in the support group. I have a few more suggestions, and then I'd suggest we involve them.

Please try to launch it by right-clicking and running as Administrator.
If that doesn't work, go to Add-Remove Programs and do a repair.

Like I said, if you like, I can get a support engineer to call, since they have a database full of info that I don't know how to navigate. But they won't be available until Monday.
