Chesapeake Regional is now Chesapeake District Championship?
So my rookie team is registering for events on TIMS.
We are part of the MAR district, and have signed up for two MAR events. But last year, I went to the Chesapeake Regional to watch, and I wanted my team to compete in that this year. But now it says that the Chesapeake Regional event is now the CHS District Championship. What happened that made the regional event change to a District Championship? And does this prevent a out-of-district team from participating? I know that inter-district play is allowed, but is it available to the district championships? |

Re: Chesapeake Regional is now Chesapeake District Championship?
Yes, district championships are limited to teams from that respective district only. Chesapeake is now a district title like MAR, Pacific Northwest, or New England. Only teams from that district can play at the DCMP. However, teams from other districts can still compete inter district, and all are free to watch any FRC event.
