Interestingly, I learned of Slingshot being put on Netflix from my guitar teacher of all people... (he had visited our home regional last year). Really glad to hear that this is getting out to more people!

Saw this and watched it last night. Cool film, neat to learn more about Dean Kamen and his family. I knew he was busy inventing things, had no idea it was on such a large scale!

I don't think I fully appreciated the "Coke" connection until watching this film. I know Dean had likely mentioned it during several of his speeches, but it did not ring home until watching this.
I wish it could spend a bit more talking about the possible importance of bringing such a machine into Modern countries. With the Flint water issues here in Michigan, I feel like there is a possible connection that many more of us could relate to.
