Exclamation Help DMOZ list FIRST

As you may know, DMOZ is an open directory project similar to Yahoo! The Open Directory is used by many search engines and portals such as Netscape, AOL, Google, Lycos, HotBot, DirectHit, and many others.

DMOZ is not run by robots (hehe, the web crawler kind, not the FIRST kind), but rather by editors. That means all submissions are reviewed by a real, live human being.

Alas, your DMOZ editor needs some assistance in populating the directory listing for the FIRST Robotics Competition. So, why don't you mosey on over and submit your favorite FIRST site or your team's website? If you've already been listed, please check to make sure that the URL is pointing to the right site (and not some archived website from two years ago) and check to see if your team name is still correct. There are some old entries that were removed because the site no longer existed. If you have a new team website, now would be a great time to get it in.

So, go over, check out the directory, and make some submissions!

Thanks for all your submissions! I believe I all the team sites listed. Let me know if I made an error in your site title or description. I made some minor corrections for capitalization and spelling.

I'm just bumping this thread for the people that may not have caught it during New Years, and possibly one more bump after the kickoff.

Once FIRST gets the page of team websites up, I'll run all those URLs through the DMOZ listings. Then your team site will be listed on most of the major portals and search engines out there! (Lots of sites use the DMOZ data behind-the-scenes.)

Thanks again!
