Installation Problems

I've been having a lot of issues installing Solidworks on my home computer. The installation worked fine on my laptop, however I keep running into issues with installation my desktop. The first problem I ran into (I don't remember the first error message/number) was the installer's installation of C++ 2005 Redistributable. I eventually had to disable .NET Framework 3.5.1, restart my computer, and enable it again. I was able to then manually install C++ 2005 Redistributable, and Solidworks proceeded fine installing the rest of its needed software, excluding the program itself. I am now having an issue with the installer installing Solidworks itself. This first happened at 27% complete, and now at 11% complete:
Internal error: The Windows Installer for this product component did not run as expected:

Register_DocMgrDLL.9FB)7B3D_OB7D_4A2F_82AB_F16B1F2 4912C.

Contact Technical Support.

I have a feeling this may be related to my unsuccessful attempt at updating to Windows 10. I was able to boot into Windows 10, but after one reboot, the computer hung and would not boot. Luckily, Windows 10 rolled itself back into Windows 7, but I had issues my USB drivers and port not working after first rolling back.

The only solution I've found online was to manually install MSXML and the newest version of .NET Framework, but it hasn't fixed my problem.
I have the installation logs if it will help.
I appreciated any help!

Here's a snippet from the logs. I've tried Googling this, but nothing seems to be working.
