D-Bug #3316 Offseason CAD projects
During the offseason we at D-Bug ran CAD projects to get our new and veteran CAD sub-team members ready for the new season. Here's a taste of what we got done:
- Two Stage Elevator:
CAD https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2J...ew?usp=sharing - Butterfly Module:
- Basketball Shooter-Turret
We will be happy to receive any comments, questions and constructive criticism! **Stay tuned for information and CAD of the 4th mechanism of a telescopic arm** Last edited by Tal_Esh : 07-01-2016 at 13:54. |

I can't open the files. Can you check if the permissions are public?

Re: D-Bug #3316 Offseason CAD projects
I have a few questions about your designs.
For the two-stage elevator, I see how the lower elevator is linked to the 775pros, but how is the top elevator linked? For the basketball turret, what motor is driving the non-CIM pulley set? I would assume it has a built-in reduction or the shield would go way too fast. Also is there any plan to have a pot on the shield? And what holds the pot on the BAG? I assume it has something to do with the floating piece of metal next to it. |

Re: D-Bug #3316 Offseason CAD projects
- The 2nd stage is driven by another #25 chain which is connected to static profiles (So the distance between the 2 stages is constant).
- Something wrong went with the stp file, but the 2nd pulley set is driven by a window motor, and a pot should be attached to it. - The hole turret rotation will be controlled by a pot and a limit switch for Match-Beginning-Calibration. - The floating plate is actually part of a tension mechanism |
