Does crossing defenses or scoring boulders during the autonomous mode damage defenses and decrease the strength of the tower respectively?

This is important because it reduces the work required to breach defenses or weaken the tower during the teleoperated period.

From the way I read it yes both of these count. However you can only damage 1 defense once in auto. so any additional crossings will not count for damage
