Thickness of the polycarbonate on the platforms.
My team is attempting to build a replica field as accurately as possible, and needs to know how thick the polycarbonate used for the ramps on the platforms are. If anyone knows this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Thickness of the polycarbonate on the platforms.
By ramps for the platforms, I assume you mean the outer works? The CAD model released by FIRST has them at 1/4" thick, but you'd have to check the field drawings to be sure. (also available here: http://www.firstinspires.org/resourc...nual-qa-system)
The Batter pieces are 1/8" thick in the manual FWIW. |

Defense Ramp
GE-16011 p 33 of 290 in the aforementioned field drawings. Quote:

Re: Thickness of the polycarbonate on the platforms.
Field drawings say 1/4" thick as well for the defense ramps. Sanded on one side, with no mention which side is up. Sounds like another Q&A, since I'd expect significant traction differences from that.

Sorry Kevin. We obviously both have the field drawings at the ready. |

Update (1/18/16) of field drawings, page 35 REV A indicates "sanded side down".
