Scaling the tower

Does anyone have any ideas for creating an arm for scaling the tower?

Re: Scaling the tower

I have heard of teams thinking of a
grappling hook (entanglement hazard)
pneumatic arm (heavy bots...)
extending arm (sliders are pricy)
and Jumping (g'luck)

All are hard. Geez, this year's game seemed impossible at first, but notw it's looking more and more fun.

Hanging is hard.

Do it anyway.

Re: Scaling the tower

A tape measure with a detachable hook on the end of it. Attach a cord/rope to the hook and wind it up with a winch, simple concept, and very doable.
