Microsoft Life Cam HD5000
A few senior mentors are hesitant to let the team us a Microsoft HD-5000. Our HD-3000 has quit. I have not found any rules station what cameras are approved and a few searches (ie approve USB cameras) has come up with no hits. They worry because apparently they have had issues with other electrical systems in the past like motors where there are detailed descriptions of what is approved.

It's a CUSTOM CIRCUIT, which means you can use whatever you want provided it's safe and doesn't interfere with any of the core control system components. (Essentially)
