Power Distribution Panel

So, I'm on a rookie team and we have a few people who don't like to put things away properly. How do we connect the Power Distribution Panel? Were we supposed to buy our own screws or was that supposed to come with it??

What are you trying to connect the PBP to?

If it's to the Rio. You need to connect power through the wieldmuller connectors and the data through the CAN bus.

If it's to the battery + breaker you use the included plate, lugs, and screws.

If it's to motors you use a small flathead screw driver to open up a small "door" and you stick the appropriate wires through.

This is a very open ended question but I tried to do my best. Please post more details and look at some of the wiring diagrams. Team 358's website is a great place to start.

Re: Power Distribution Panel

If you are talkinga bout screws for the power input (the 6 gauge wires), they do come with it. Check the box. Look for screws and a cover in a package together. If you can't find them, the thread size is printed by the screws. the power lugs are M6 and the screws to hold the cover in place are 6-32.

If you have to get replacement screws, make sure they are not so long that they bottom out with the lugs in place. Ace Hardware and Home Depot/Lowes will have the M6's. You may have to ask the staff where they are kept.
