BXD Synthesis problems
So, I've been tasked to get this years field up and running in BXD Synthesis, a robot simulator program from Autodesk. I'm having trouble configuring the field for export, and I was wondering if anyone has already set it up.

I will try to import the field over the weekend and get back to you.

Re: BXD Synthesis problems
I have been playing with the BXD application and have not run into any problems with exporting simple parts. Since you can only export parts, not assemblies, there is a fair amount of work to be done converting subassemblies to parts. The tutorial walks you through how to do this.
Here is what I suggest to get started. 1. Identify a subassembly from the field assembly. For example the floor. 2. Convert it to a part as per the tutorial instructions. file:///C:/Users/phill/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/INetCache/IE/9Q4RONP0/fieldex.pdf 3, Use the export work flow as per the instructions. Let me know if this simple example works for you. |
