Smile 2 USB Cameras Labview 2016

Hello!

We would like to have a 2 USB camera setup through labview. Last year, we could not do that because the RoboRio had a bug and could not support two USB cameras. We would like to know if anyone was able to implement dual USB cameras in labview this year. Does anyone know if this bug is fixed and 2 USB cameras can be implemented in labview?

Thank You
Sai

Re: 2 USB Cameras Labview 2016

There are a number of threads related to multiple cameras. Some are more geared towards a switch between two and some towards two simultaneous streams. Some VIs were also posted.

WPILib doesn't natively support multiple USB camera streams. It isn't as much a bug as something that it simply doesn't do. You have the source code, and on another thread, I describe some of the key edits to get this to work. Perhaps it will be a fully supported feature next year, but that depends to some degree on how effective the bandwidth limits are.
