(HelpPlease?) Setting AutoMode from SFX (SmartDashboard 2.0)

Our team recently switched to the SFX SmartDashboard 2.0, and though many of our problems with the original SmardDashboard vanished when we switched to the sleek new SFX, one persistent bugger remained.

For reasons unknown and incomprehensible, we can not seem to get the AutoChooser working on the SFX. Our goal is simple: to be able to choose between 3 or more possible Autonomous Modes, and have the robot get the value you chose and use it to decide which Autonomous Mode to run.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, I will monitor this post like a vulture, so if you have any questions that might help diagnose our situation, please, ask away!

Post your code.

In C++ it goes something like this.
1) Create a field, and put a value in it.
2) Driver changes the value in the field.
3) In AutonomousInit, read the value, and do whatever
