1559 Rules Test

I've made an open copy of the rules test I created for my drive team tryouts to share! I've included an answer key, and if you see any problems please let me know. The Part III long answer question I haven't included an answer for, as it is a question I chose not to grade myself but mostly used to look at the students' understanding of the game. If you're wondering why the entire test is short answer, it's because multiple guess questions are too easy in my opinion - I wanted to be sure those taking it actually had knowledge of the rules and weren't just good at weeding out bad answers. On the key I included the points I awarded for each question, which adds up to a score out of 100. If you have any questions or comments I'd love to hear them, and good luck to those taking the test.

Also you shared it in a way that allows anyone to edit it. You may want to look into that.

Smile Re: 1559 Rules Test

Links all seem to work right now - thanks for posting. I was able to, within Google docs, File->Make Copy, then File->Organize within my Gdrive so that I have it locally. With your permission, I am going to adapt for our team. I am not sure I think it is important to know the category of the defenses, just the names. I have a lot of new team members so am going to add some basic roles questions too. We are thinking this will be part of our driver test. All our drivers graduated and we didn't think about that last season to give some people "live" drive time.

Re: 1559 Rules Test

Ok, duh on the categorizing of the defenses -of course it is important! I am scoring these for a large group and wondering if anyone can PM the answers they get for the final strategy score question. I have mine but want to check before I score our team's answers (there is a wide range).
