PDB Emergency!!!!

Hey, I was just looking at the rules, and it says that we have to use 217-4244 for power distribution. However, we only have am-0865 boards. My coach says that that's fine, but i'm not sure. Help! I am frightened.

Re: PDB Emergency!!!!

It is very much NOT fine. You will fail inspection. That is the PDB from the last Control System era.

You got one of these PDB's last year in your KOP. So, you should swap the PDB with that one. They function similar so your still not losing functionality on your 2015 robot.

I would also recommend ordering one of them in First Choice next year. It is definitely worth it.

Re: PDB Emergency!!!!

The am-0865 is the old PBP.

For actual competition, you need to use the new one.

Every team should have at least 1. It came in the Kit of Parts for all teams when it was first released, and all rookie teams will have gotten it.

Edit: Sniped.

But yes, it is NOT fine. You MUST change it out.
