775pro layer peeling off
![]() Anyone else see this? It's a metallic layer and I'm afraid of it shorting our electronics. I haven't heard of this and I'm sure I would've seen it on here. Last edited by mastachyra : 19-02-2016 at 21:29. |

Wouldn't sweat it to much, but did you get the motor hot or anything?

No, it ran once for a few seconds. It just started peeling and I flaked it off very easily. It looks like all the loose stuff is gone now.

You should report this to WCP and VEX. They need to know about it. |

Re: 775pro layer peeling off
We had a similar case with one of our 775 pro's. However with ours it arrived like this. There was a semi large section without coating slightly eating into where the numbers are.

Hard to tell in pic, but looks like it's just the plating from the band around motor. I would however take a picture showing the numbers so if any more flakes off you can show robot inspector what kind of motor it is. Better to cover your butt than not
