Robot moving when disabled
We have been having an issue that the CIM motors and victors controlling them activate when the robot is on but disabled (and not even connected to the driver station). It seems to do this randomly and we have no idea what could be causing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Robot moving when disabled
If your wiring is correct, there should be no way for motors to run when the robot is disabled. This strongly suggests that you have a problem with your wiring.

Re: Robot moving when disabled
Specifically, if you have Y cables, it is quite easy for them to have momentary shorts at the Y. These shorts can cause tiny signals to the motor controller that it interprets as signal, causing a small jerk.
