FRC Team 4499 Robot

Introducing team 4499's 2016 robot named Magnetar


Specifications
Drive Train
Vexpro two cim gearboxes
Overall gear reduction High:9.167:1 Low:20.833:1
Intake
Driven by a bag motor with a 25:1 gear down. Picture is not updated, there will be a 4" mecanum wheel on each side with two versawheels in the center.
Catapult
NOT SHOWN IN PICTURE
There is two 6 in. stroke and 1.5 in. bore pistons driving the catapult with a latch to pre-charge the system. There are two ballast tanks that are dedicated to fill the pistons.
Defenses that can be crossed
B and D defenses along with the low bar.

We definitely can get some air, but more than likely we will be using low gear to go over the defenses so it isn't so hard on the robot. We will use high gear to go through the low bar and secret passage.
