Transmission story
Hi, i have been feveriously designing a auto transmission for our robot for the up and coming year. did anybody try doing this last year? if so how did it work? effiecently, or not? i will post some drafts of it in the white papers soon, just to give you a look at my design

Are you talking about software-controlled shifting or an actual mechanical automatic transmission?

Mechanically controlled. The Drills are switched in and out of high gear by servo switching. the clutch assembly looks alot like a rc car transmission, but without the oneway bearing.belt driven to another pulley which is connected to the drive shaft
