Hey everyone! I'm Sam, the Safety Captain for Team 1257 Parallel Universe in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. This year (unlike previous years) is one of the best years in our team history. We've been able to accumulate a lot of district points, and will compete in MAR Regional Championships and will most likely qualify for World Championships.
So far, our school has assisted us by providing transportation to and from events, but in the event that our team qualifies for World Championships, our school cannot cover the costs all the way to St. Louis. Students (especially key members of the team) and parents who will have to pay the full cost to Worlds, in which case is not affordable.
