FRC ScoreSheet (beta app for mobile)

To start off, there is a beta going on with an iOS app. Fair warning, it requires you Apple ID and will send the notification you have been accepted to your recovery/main email. So, for instance, I used my iCloud account to sign in to every Apple-related product and never actually type the original email in anywhere. Only to find out that the email I signed up for an iTunes account with (the original email) was required to activate the beta within an app called TestFlight. Please note, you must install TestFlight in order to download the FRC ScoreSheet beta app.

Moving from TestFlight and iTunesConnect, I have 1,998 spaces left for users seeking beta access to FRC Scoresheet. There are two different means of access. One way is that you will receive access to version 0.1 through 1.0, currently working on version 0.1.3b4 I have started a Reddit posted about this app already and will mention a few things over here that have been discussed as part of the discussion over on Reddit.

Currently focused tasks:
- Adding older device support (iPhone SE, fixing current issues, etc)
- Add data loader to the History tab
- Add custom icons to the tab bar
- Design Statistics page (the tab exists, but it's as blank as the history tab)
- Add support for importing & exporting in different file types (.XML, .CSV, and .TXT are the only 3 being talked about)
- Comment for other formats to import or export to and from this app

In order to post access to FRC ScoreSheet submit this form. Please note that it may take a few hours for me to add you to the beta, your input is welcomed either: on this form, Reddit, or Github.

Both community input and help with the app is welcomed. I will be opening a Gitter chat room pretty soon so that it makes communication a lot easier between myself and the community instead of checking 2 forms and waiting for the delay on those servers. If you would like to be part of the development process, you can message me on any of the services previously mentioned (CD, Reddit, or Github - although I still don't really know how to navigate CD and there doesn't seem to be anything to introduce me to CD, like I only post to general discussion because everywhere else doesn't make sense to post to for me at this point).

Cheers!

Post Re: FRC ScoreSheet (beta app for mobile)

Updating this thread, there will not be android support during the 2017 season. However, there will be: iPhone, iPad, MacOS, and Windows 10 support planned for February 2017.

The reason for this change starting the second week of the beta is that the android device UI editors happen to be fairly buggy, or else this could be the OS as it seems the UI editor seems to act like a simulator rather than an actual editor. I have tried Visual Studio, IntelliJ, and Eclipse ADT. So, as it currently stands, the app WILL NOT have an official release on android until February 2018 at the earliest - which should give me time to apply updates and actually work on getting a basic design between the 8 device types that should be officially supported (iPhone SE/5/5s, iPhone 6/6s/7, iPhone 6+/6s+/7+, MacOS devices, and Windows 10 devices).

Cheers!
